ipods and hearing loss

Don't get me wrong I love my Ipod and always will. But i really think i am going deaf from listening to it way too much. The volume limit is now all the way up and that does not seem to be loud enough anymore.
It used to be incredibly loud before, but now it is not loud at all on the highest set volume limit. You think I should go to the doctor? Or shoud grow deaf peacefully? I think I will go with the second on because it will be coool to have hearing aids at thirty right?
Well besides going deaf from my ipod i love it to death. I lost one ipod before and i cried. It took so much time and energy to get all the songs i wanted on there.
